Brian Pearce 'Back to the Game' with his mum Sally and dad Alan
The Canberra and Monaro local committee along with the Canberra Raiders participated in the ‘Back to the Game’ program.
On thisoccasion our welfare officers had identified Brian Pearce (a quadriplegic who previously received a grant from the M.O.L. for the refurbishment of a Wheel Chair Lift) as a strong West Tigers supporter.
Consequently, arrangements were made for Brian, along with his Mother and Father to attend the Raiders – Tigers match at Bruce Stadium on the 26th July. Brian & July certainly enjoyed the day. Many thanks go to Raiders Coach Dave Furner, Assistant Tigers Coach Royce Simmons and Fox presenter Wayne Pearce, all of whom had taken the time from their busy schedule to visit and chat with Brian, his Mum Sally and Dad Alan.
