Mick Shannon-Hard working fullback. Represented QLD 6 times. Very quick and a hard runner.Played for Brisbane against Great Britain in 1958 being narrowly beaten.
John Gleeson-Played 25 games for QLD. Was flattened by NZ Rob Orchard in the 2nd Test at Lang Park in 67. Within seconds team mate Noel Kelly retaliated and knocked Orchard out and was sent off. Gleeson played 10 Tests for Australia.
Peter Gallagher- 17 Tests for Australia between 1963 and 1968.Played for Brothers 1957-67 and appeared 17 times for QLD and led Brothers to the 1967 BRL grand final.
Brian Davis- Appeared 27 times for Australia from 1951-58. Brian also has 38 appearences for QLD. He played for Brothers from 1948-58. Was captain-coach in 65 after returning from a four season stay with Canterbury.
Tom Gorman- Was the first QLD player to lead a Kangaroo tour 1929/30. Tom became the clubs first paid player in 1926. Played 10 Tests for Australia from 1924-1930. He played 35 games for QLD 1921-31. Was well known as 'Gentleman Tom'
